The General Worker will be responsible for carrying out Weighbridge activities in accordance with the standard operating procedure and to ensure that necessary Tools & Consumables to use are properly accounted for- e.g., Empty Bags, Plastics, Brooms, Shrink Wrap, Gloves, Masks etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- To Carryout Weighbridge activities in accordance with the Bridge Zambia Standard Operating Procedure
- To Ensure effective Communications to Sales Team, Tracking Team, Supervisors, Warehouse Assistants and Drivers
- To Ensure that necessary Tools & Consumables to use are properly accounted for- e.g., Empty Bags, Plastics, Brooms, Shrink Wrap, Gloves, Masks etc
- To Ensure that Trucks details are checked for correctness, and if discrepancy is noted, it must be reported immediately.
- To Ensure that Client’s Loaded Cargo on Tracks is properly tarped.
- To Ensure cleaning of working areas at the end of the Shift.
- To ensure that proper Videos and Pictures are taken, when Loading/ Offloading, and uploaded onto the PC
- At times, you will be required to do General Worker’s jobs when called upon by your Supervisor/ Manager.
- Execute any other assignment given by your Superiors.
