Available Positions:
1. Position Title: Client Support Specialist (BoZM5)

- Location: Lusaka
- Department: Information and Communications Technology
Role Summary:
The Client Support Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring seamless support for the bank’s ICT systems by providing technical assistance to users. The successful candidate will manage user queries, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure the bank’s technological operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to BoZ staff for hardware and software-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including computers, printers, and networks.
- Ensure that all service requests are logged, prioritized, and followed up for timely resolution.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and ensure it is up to date.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards when managing user requests.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on the usage of IT systems and applications.
- Perform system backups and ensure recovery protocols are in place.
- Prepare reports on IT support activities and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a corporate or banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
2. Position Title: Software Engineer – Application and Support, Regional Office (BoZM5)

- Department: Information and Communications Technology
Role Summary:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting software applications to meet the Bank’s operational requirements. The role demands expertise in software development, troubleshooting, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain software solutions in line with the Bank’s needs.
- Assist in the design and development of new applications and system upgrades.
- Provide support for existing applications, resolving issues and enhancing functionality.
- Collaborate with other IT specialists to integrate various software applications with banking systems.
- Document technical specifications and ensure compliance with security policies during software development.
- Provide training and assistance to users regarding the use of new or upgraded systems.
- Monitor software performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in software engineering and propose relevant updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in software development or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and software design.
- Experience in working with large-scale software systems, preferably in a banking environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
